LogoMaid steals logo from SimpleBits

“History is repeated” and LogoMaid.com is at it again. This assembly line for cheap, non-original logos appears to have taken the new logo from SImpleBits, modified the shape slightly, and tried to pawn it off as their own. This is the funniest, but most true post I have ever seen from a web designer talking about working with clients.

# I am not your host.
# I don’t have a clue why your computer isn’t working.
# Make up your dang mind, is it design one, two, or three.
# I can’t start building your web site until you let me know what you want.
# Your design will be done when you pay me.
# No your site will not go back up until you pay your bill.
# You don’t own the design until you pay me.
# There are no such things as FREE updates.
# If you say that you want me to just design the site however I think is best, trust my judgment and stop telling me how to design your site.
# I cannot read your mind! Throw me a freaking bone.
# I am not getting paid to write your content.
# That is just filler text.

The article is really great though it covers only one of the all methods possible. I’m not sure that it can help someone as a guide to the process of web design but it’s a good reading and cab serve as a source of inspiration for the retrospective review of your own experience.
